Rudimentary Highlights Of Yellowstone Caldera

Explore Yellowstone Caldera through our Tour Yellowstone guided tours.  The Huckleberry Ridge Tuff extends beyond Upper Loop at Mammoth Hot Springs, westward into Montana, eastwards towards Absoroka Mountain Range, and almost covers the entire Yellowstone Lake.  The Island Park Caldera extends between Idaho and Yellowstone Park.  The latest Caldera, the Yellowstone Caldera, almost circles Yellowstone Lake; it covers the entire Lower Loop and extends west of it.  Our Guides' job is to explain the history of Yellowstone Caldera and to take you to physical evidence of locations where volcanic activities existed.  It is a fascinating part of our Yellowstone Tour, helping you understand the events that created the gigantic Low-Lying areas called the Caldera.
