6:00 AM – Hotel Pickup in Jackson Hole

Your guide meets you at your hotel. As you travel north toward Yellowstone through Grand Teton National Park, your guide provides an introduction to the region’s wildlife and geology. Early morning is a great time to spot elk, moose, and bison.

8:30 AM – Enter Yellowstone National Park

Cross the South Entrance into Yellowstone and learn about the Park’s volcanic history and geothermal systems.

9:00 AM – West Thumb Geyser Basin & Yellowstone Lake

Walk along the boardwalks at West Thumb Geyser Basin, where hot springs bubble beside the clear blue waters of Yellowstone Lake, the largest high-elevation lake in North America.

Watch the world-famous Old Faithful Geyser erupt. Then explore the Upper Geyser Basin, home to hundreds of geothermal features — more than anywhere else on Earth. Your guide explains the science behind these natural wonders.

11:00 PM – Grand Prismatic Spring

Continue to the Midway Geyser Basin to see the incredible Grand Prismatic Spring, one of the Park’s most photographed sights. Learn about the colorful thermophilic bacteria that create their rainbow hues.

12:00 PM – Lunch Break by the Firehold River

After exploring the Grand Prismatic Spring, enjoy a sit-down lunch overlooking the Firehole River. We provide a full dining setup with tables and clean tablecloths.

Menu Selection: Choose from a variety of meats (turkey, ham, roast beef, chicken breast, pastrami, corned beef, salami, pepperoni, bologna, braunschweiger, or bacon) or classic salad sandwiches (tuna, chicken, or egg).

All meals are individually wrapped. Specialized options are available for those with dietary restrictions.

1:30 PM – Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

Stop at Artist Point for a breathtaking view of the Lower Falls, one of the Park’s most iconic scenes. Hear the story of how ancient volcanic and glacial forces carved the canyon.

2:30 PM – Hayden Valley Wildlife Viewing

Travel through Hayden Valley, a wildlife-rich area where herds of bison, elk, and occasionally wolves or bears roam freely. Your guide offers insight into Yellowstone’s complex ecosystem and the behavior of its wildlife.
